Six Washington County 4-H’ers took part in the State Shoot Match in Montezuma. The Bows and Bullets members competed against 110 4-H members from 22 counties in the final competition of the shooting year. Four of the local students placed in the top 10. Joe Dunbar placed second in junior muzzleloader, Brock Shaedler took fifth place in junior archery, Jeffry Taylor placed fourth in intermediate shotgun, and Richard Dunbar placed sixth in intermediate shotgun.
