Marr Park has seen an above average amount of visitors this past year. According to the park’s annual report for the fiscal year ending June 30th, they saw an additional $10,000 in camping revenue.

Pam Holz is a naturalist at Marr Park. She says they’ve had a great summer, and it may be due to the mild weather.

She adds they even had high attendance earlier this month, a period of time when they usually see a dip in visitors due to the Iowa State Fair.
