A cook off will be held in downtown Washington as part of this year’s Relay for Life event. There are three categories for the contest: meat, salsa and chili. In addition to the three judged categories there will be a people’s choice category where people in the community can take part in the tasting. Each team will be given a space on the square to cook their items, no pre-seasoned or pre-marinated items will be allowed and no fryers are allowed in the competition.
