The champion in region 6 of class 3A softball is heading to the state tournament Monday. The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks enter the state tournament for the 5th year in a row after their 6-5 win against the #1 ranked Benton Bobcats in the regional final. The community is invited to attend a send off pep rally for the girls Sunday Afternoon. It begins at 1:30 at Carr, Vincent, Gould Field in Kalona.
