The Washington Demon softball team is making up a game scheduled for last Saturday, tonight against Williamsburg.

Washington comes in off a pair of wins against Mt. Pleasant, and looks to finish out the regular season with some momentum against the Raiders and two more games against Ft. Madison.

Washington’s top bat is Grace Redlinger with a .413 average, two homers and 19 RBI’s. Outside of Redlinger, the Demons struggle at the plate, with Stephanie Fishback and Ashley Rausch both over .300, but after that everything is in the .200 average zone. In the circle, Ashley Rausch stays the top arm with a 10-9 record, 1.68 ERA and 137 strikeouts.

Williamsburg is 14-20 on the season and is led by the bat of Jackie Widmer with a .346 average and 14 RBI’s, and Jess MIller with a .343 average and 11 RBI’s. In the circle eighth grader Nicole Zuber is the top arm with a 10-11 record, 1.75 ERA and 91 strikeouts.

Tonight’s game is at Williamsburg with first pitch at 7.
