Tractors and other farm equipment is on display in downtown Washington today. Tomorrow Washington’s 175th Celebration continues with Family Health and Fitness Day. Erin Rugg who is helping to organize the day explains from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. there will be free games, bounce houses and other activities in Sunset Park for families. A youth frisbee golf tournament will be held with registration starting at 9 a.m. In the afternoon the Steele Family Aquatic Center will be open for a free swim from 1 to 5 p.m.

Rugg adds there is a free Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra concert at the Washington fairgrounds with fireworks following the game.

Also, there is a throwback baseball game with the Demon Varsity Baseball team in 1972 replica uniforms, the year the school had its first baseball team. The game against Keokuk begins at 5:30 p.m., listen to KCII Radio for play by play action tomorrow night.
