The Kalona City Pool enters its 25th season this year. According to Kalona City Administrator Ryan Schlabaugh, the pool opens this Memorial Day Weekend. Hours are from 1 until 7pm today, tomorrow and Monday. He says they’ll have limited hours for a few weeks, then after school lets out in June, they’ll be open full time. The pool opened for the first time in 1989.
