Counditions have improved across Iowa regarding the drought. According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, nearly 33% of the state is no longer experiencing drought conditions, up from 21.5% last week. Only 3.1% of the state is experiencing severe drought, which includes most of Keokuk County and parts of Washington, Johnson, Iowa and Mahaska counties.
