Drought conditions remain unchanged from last week to this week according to the U.S. Drought Monitor. At this time, 5.3% of the state is in severe drought, including portions of Keokuk, Iowa, Johnson and the northwest corner of Washington counties. At this time 21.5% of the state does not have drougth conditions. Since Tuesday’s reporting deadline, Washington has received more than an inch of rain.
