The Drake Relays qualifiers have been released, and here are the area qualifiers for each event for the boys and girls.

In the 100 meter dash: Carl Sivels of Washington

In the 4×100 meter relay: Washington with a team of Sivels, Gage Redlinger, Jack Giardino and Alex Coker; WACO with a team of Brett Heseltien, Bryce Achen, Cornell Hulme and Dylan Carlson.

WACO head coach Shannon Rugg said it has been awhile since he has had anything go, so this will be exciting.

In Long Jump: Rickey Rivers of Columbus Junction; Alex Coker of Washington.

In the Shot Put: Tommy Peterson of Washington.

For the girls, in the 4×100 meter relay: Washington with a team of Macy Merak, Stephanie Fishback, Dema Giardino and Grace Redlinger; Mid-Prairie with a team of Lexi Duwa, Arissa Marnie, Emily Clayton and Alex Rath.
