Fresh off their first win of the season Tuesday night at Washington, the Mid-Prairie girls soccer team made it back to back victories Thursday night in Wellman, posting a 3-0 shut out over Columbus. The Golden Hawks handled the Wildcat pressure with a strong possession game. Junior Ashley Miller continued her hot scoring run with two more goals, her fourth and fifth this week. She also added an assist. Mid-Prairie’s Cassidy Bontrager rounded out the scoring with the first varsity goal of her career. The Golden Hawks are now 2-3 and will host Monticello on Monday.
