Next week, crews will begin flushing the fire hydrants in the City of Washington. The City of Washington Maintenance and Construction Department has announced that beginning next Monday, April 21st, hydrants will be flushed. The process could last 10 to 14 days and during the flushing residents may have loss of water pressure, discoloration or rust.
