The Mid-Prairie girls golf team improved to 3-0 last night after winning the triangular at West Liberty.
The Golden Hawks had played in some cold windy temperatures the week before, but in the nice weather, they came out and won with a team score of 207, beating West Liberty who had 218, and West Branch with 232.
Sydney Scarf was the team medalist with a 51, while Mick VanWinkle had 53, Allyson Wertz carded a 54, Laura Yoder had a 63, and rounding out the varsity scores was Abby Pickard with a 64.
Head coach Tracy McArtor said to be shooting this well this early is a great sign of things to come.
Mid-Prairie is off until next week.
