At around 10:30 Monday morning local authorities responded to a call about smoke coming from the roof of a building at 311 E. 5th Street in Washington. 5th street in Washington is currently closed from east 2nd to east 4th street. Crews currently on scene are  Washington Fire, Washington Police and area first responders. KCII will bring you more informatino when it becomes official.
