Drought conditions across Iowa persist, with only 14% of the state not experiencing drought conditons. Most of Washington County is in a moderate drought, along with 53% of the state. Although, the northwest corner of Washington County is in a severe drought, as well as most of Johnson, Keokuk, and Iowa counties. At this time a year ago, all of Iowa was experiencing drought conditions.
