Washington’s snow emergency ends at noon today. The snow emergency began Tuesday evening, when approximately 6 inches of snow fell in the area. During the snow emergency, vehicles should not be parked on any public street, alley or city-owned or leased off-street parking area unless the snow has been removed or plowed from said street or area and the snow has ceased to fall.
Also, City of Washington personnel is reminding property owners to keep sidewalks free of snow and ice. If the property owner or occupant fail to remove ice and snow the City may do so and the cost of the removal may be levied against the property.
Snow is in the forecast for tomorrow. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
