A crossing arm and lights at the train crossing in the 1000 block of West Main Street in Washington were not working earlier today. Just before 11 a.m., the Washington Communications Center received a report that the lights and arms were not activated when a train went through town. The railroad was contacted and someone was dispatched to look into the problem. According to the Communications Center, a representative with the railroad believes the issue has been resolved. Motorists are still advised to take caution at that crossing.
