Build a snowman at the library. The children’s department of the Washington Public Library currently has a program where families can build a snowman on a bulletin board as they log minutes read. Teen Services and Library Assistant LeAnn Kunz explains that families can get a bag of snowman parts and for every 30 minutes they read they can put part of the snowman on the bulletin board in the children’s room. When a family completes the snowman a book will be placed in honor of the family in the library’s collection. This program is running until February 13th.
