Locally harvested game, vegetables and fruits will be part of the menu at the 2nd Annual Wild Game Feed tomorrow. The meal is held by Tri-Rivers Conservation Foundation and Louisa County Izaak Walton League. It’s served pot luck style, and attendees are invited to bring a dish to share. Katie Hammond, with Louisa County Conservation, says last year, the selection included deer, turkey and pheasant. They also had vegetable dishes made using ingredients grown in local gardens and desserts made from berries picked at one of the County’s conservation areas. The meal begins at 6pm at Louisa County Ikes Clubhouse, north of Wapello.
