The Washington County Sheriff’s Office participated in No Shave November and raised funds for a local non-profit in the process. Deputy Sheriff Nolan Burke states that Sheriff Jerry Dunbar allowed those who participated to grow facial hair for one month and in return those involved raised money for Hospice of Washington County. The 14 officers that participated asked for donations and Deputy Burke will be presenting the check at 11 a.m. today at Hospice of Washington County.
