The Washington YMCA has selected an architect firm and construction managing company to render drawings for a possible remodel and potential new facility. Becky Harkema, Director of the Washington YMCA, explains that once the drafts are complete she will hold a series of community forums to present the information and gather feedback. She adds that this is being pursued to improve facilities, such as the pool and gym, to increase programming and revenue so the YMCA will maintain its sustainability.

She invites the community to the YMCA’s annual meeting reception which will be held Thursday, December 5th, at J.P.’s 207 from 5 to 7 p.m.
