The Iowa Influenza Surveillance Network reports that Iowa’s activity level remains sporadic. Three cases of seasonal influenza, including two influenza A and one influenza B, have been confirmed by the State Hygienic Laboratory. In addition, 15 cases of rhinovirus were reported to the Iowa Department of Public Health. Also, influenza-like illness increased from the previous week, but is still below the regional baseline.
