Tonight, voters will have a chance to get to know the candidates for Washington’s City elections. A forum is being held at the United Presbyterian Church and each candidate will give a 3 minute introduction. Following the statements, the candidates in the only contested race, which is for the At-Large seat, will take part in a question and answer session. Currently Merle Hagie holds the At-Large seat, but he is opposed by Lyn Thomas and Kathryn Salazar. The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the United Presbyterian Church in Washington.
