The Sigourney volleyball team got the win last night over Tri-County.

The Savages swept, and in style, winning 25-5, 25-5 and 25-10.

The team was led by Jordan Carter in kills with 12, while Sydney Davis had 21 assists and Becca Ohland had 10 digs on the night.

Sigourney head coach Chris Carter said her team played hard, and it showed in the score.

“I was happy with how we played the first two games, we pretty much came in, took care of business and played our game and did what we needed to do,” Carter said. “So it was kind of a quick night, and in game three we switched the rotation around a little bit, gave a some kids a chance to play a spot they don’t play all of the time, and that was the difference in the score in that game, but it was a good night for us.”

Sigourney is now off for a week, before they come back to play North Mahaska on Monday.
