The pavement on West Main Street in Washington cracked open last night and water gushed out due to a water main break. The break occurred near the intersection of West Main Street and South H Avenue near Sunset Park at approximately 6 p.m. City crews worked into the night to determine the cause and fix the issue. West Main Street is closed from F Avenue to H Avenue. The street was also closed over the weekend for some time due to another problem with pipes.
