At their meeting Monday, a recommendation that three Riverside City Council members resign was discussed briefly. Riverside City Administrator, Rusty Rogerson, says further consideration of the plan is unlikely.
The recommendation from the city’s municipal consultant, Pat Callahan, called for Nate Kasdorf, Chris Kirkwood and Bob Schneider’s resignation before this fall’s election. In a letter to the council he explained that groups with similar stances could then run together for the five council seats and position of mayor, giving the council, struggling with cooperation, a fresh start.
