The first reading of a Keota zoning ordinance is expected in September. City councilman and member of the planning and zoning committee, Keith Conrad, says work sessions will be held before then, to make sure everything is in order, and to prevent issues when its eventually implemented. Work on the ordinance draft began last fall.
