Many homeowners are taking advantage of Riverside’s home improvement grant program. Since it began in March, $134,000 has been awarded to residents looking to fix up their homes. The grants of up to $5,000 have led to $338,000 worth of projects in the city. City Administrator Rusty Rogerson says the grants are funded by money set aside for economic development from the Hotel/Motel Tax.
