Those in the English River Watershed with concerns or interest in a proposed coalition can attend a meeting Tuesday. Kalona City Administrator Ryan Schlabaugh says the meeting will go over the 28E agreement needed to form a watershed management authority, and what it would allow them to do. The meeting at the North English community center at 7 will also feature local farmers, who will talk about farm practices that can help reduce erosion and flooding issues.

The meeting is being held by the City of Kalona, Iowa Flood Center and Farm Bureau.
