Due to mapping discrepancies, the Washington City Council was unable to move forward on the West Tyler project at their meeting Wednesday night. It was explained that there is a difference in the assessor’s mapping and on ground surveying of approximately six feet in some areas. The differences impact the design schedule and assessments, which are based on a property’s frontage and lot depth.

The council plans to move on the item on their May 22 meeting.
