The City of Wellman and a county organization have worked together to provide flood cleanup kits to residents. According to City Administrator Nick Pacha, they worked with Washington County Emergency Management Coordinator, Larry Smith, to secure a limited number of flood cleanup kits. The kits are free to Wellman residents affected by the recent flash flooding, on a first come first served basis.

The Red Cross kits include a mop, squeegee, broom, rubber gloves, garbage bags, pine sol, and bleach.
