The Washington County Hospital and Clinic’s diabetes education program has received recognition from the American Diabetes Association. The program aims to help patients manage their diabetes and educate patients about the disease. Amy Martin, program director, says that with the ADA recognition, the educational program is typically covered by patients’ insurance. She began the process of applying for the recognition last fall.
