Two resolutions proposed by the RUSS board regarding to the Richmond and Rubio sanitary sewer system projects were discussed at the Washington County board of supervisors’ meeting Tuesday morning. Supervisor Jack Seward, who sits on the RUSS board as Washington County’s representative, explained that the RUSS board was concerned with the length that the project has gone on since it has extended from the original 22 months to 37 months, which has added an estimated $117,000.

RUSS proposed resolutions that the board of supervisors decide by April 10th whether to move on with the project or pay RUSS back for work completed. The supervisors took no formal action.
