The Henry County extension office in Mt. Pleasant will be hosting a Fruit Tree Grafting Workshop Tuesday, April 2nd. The class will be led by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Specialist Patrick O’Malley. Each participant will receive two apple rootsticks, access to a variety of scions and access to tools. The program includes a presentation on reasons for grafting, types of grafting and a demonstration. Participation is $35 per person or $60 per couple.
