The Washington County Conservation Board is not doing snow clearing and ice removal from the new trail that extends from Marr Park to Ainsworth. Conservation Board Executive Director Steve Anderson says that if people expect it to be cleared and the county is not able to do it because of time or expense, then it would be a safety hazard.  That policy will last through the winter, and not just during this most recent storm.  Anderson says people wanting to use the trail in the snow and ice should dress and act accordingly.
