The Mid-Prairie boys lost on the road against Regina on Friday, after beating Mediapolis, and West Branch, and will get a home stand tonight against Tipton.
Mid-Prairie is 3-1, and is shooting 42 percent from the floor and 56 percent from the free throw line.
They are led by Dayton hall who has 44 points, followed closely by Nick Stimson with 43.
Tipton is 0-3 and is shooting 40 percent from the floor, and 46.5 percent from the free throw line.
Tipton is led by Alex Wiley with 39 points, and Scott Pelzer with 32 points.
Mid-Prairie head coach Chris Kern said his team needs to be all around shooters, and not rely on just one option.
“We didn’t get quite the inside scoring that we’ve been getting out of our big guys [last week], not that that’s a concern, but we want to get some scoring inside,” Kern said. “Nick Stimson has really come along in the last few games, he had 17 at Mediapolis and he had 14 against Regina, we need to be a balanced scoring team.”
