Hamakua Place, Washington’s faith-based youth center, has their fifth annual Christmas Extravaganza fundraiser today. It offers home-based businesses a chance to sell their goods.  It is 9 to 2 today at the center on South Iowa.

Hamakua’s Executive Director Deb Bodensteiner says that it includes crafts, jewelry, and flea market items.  A youth bake sale helps to fund the many activities and ongoing programs at the center.

Hamakua Place was created a little more than five years ago by Bodensteiner and her husband Jim.
