The IMS boy’s basketball team put up some points at the Mid-Prairie Jamboree, but lost to West Branch 41-25.

IMS was led by Cameron Gingerich with five points, followed by Zach Hill, Dallas Nye and Reggie Hostetler each with four points

West Branch was led by Rylee Murry who had 18 points on the night with two three pointers.

IMS head coach Dwight Gingerich said he thought the defensive effort was good, but there are some things they need to fix.

“This was a great opportunity to just get out a play a little bit, even as we’ve been practicing that first six, seven, eight days you are trying to get a lot in, and obviously we have to spend more time on hings, as soon as we can here, but we’re going to keep going out every day and trying to get better,” Gingerich said.

IMS will open up play against Highland on Tuesday.
