The City of Washington is at the end of their work to repair street surfaces this construction season. The city annually has a list of street repairs that they prioritize with their engineer.  Washington City Administrator Brent Hinson says that one particular spot on Fourth Avenue needed repairs.  But they were first waiting to see if possible sewer repairs in the same location would mean that it made more sense to wait. That way they could prevent tearing up a newly repaired road. Street repaving is expected to be finished this week.
