The Columbus Junction Cross Country team ran at the Clear Creek Amana meet last night in Iowa City.The Wildcat girls finished third, while the Boys were fourth.

For the girl’s team, Taylor Hills led the way with a seventh place finish in a time of 17:07. Caitlin Chaney was close behind with a ninth place finish and a time of 17:16.

Other Columbus scorers were Claire Hamilton in 11th, Grace Chapman in 13th and Ashley
Canny in 17th.

Clear Creek won the meet with 50, Columbus had 57.

On the boy’s side, Efrain Barajas finished at the top with a 11th place run in a time of 17:57, and Eli Sents was in 12th with a time of 17:59.

Other scorers were Josh Keller in 25th, Mitchell Roush in 29th and Dalton Howell in 30th.

Vinton Shellsburg won the meet with 26, Mid-Prairie was second with 55, and Columbus was 4th with 107.
