The Eastern Iowa Honor Flight took off for Washington D.C. early this morning.

The group of 87 veterans will be stopping at the various memorials in the city. The group will spend the day in D.C. and will head back for Iowa around 9 this evening. Listen to AM and FM KCII for live updates from the Honor Flight throughout the day.
