With today being the 11th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, many area first responders are taking time to remember the lives lost. Here in Washington, the Fire Department will be unveiling their flag as a way to remember the victims lost on that day. Other flags will be displayed as a memorial as well.
Also to honor the lives lost that day, Gov. Branstad is ordering all flags in the state to be flown at half-staff from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.
