There will be no change to Wapello’s Golf Cart Ordinance, thanks to the city attorney’s recommendation. A letter from the city attorney recommended that the City not change the ordinance to allow the use of utility vehicles on city streets.  Utility vehicles are considered vehicles with a steering wheel and seatbelts, like the John Deere Gator. Acting City Clerk Mike Delzell, shares only a handful of people wanted the ordinance to change.
