The City of Wayland is holding a 2 day Independence Day celebration. Tammy Sinn, a member of the committee that organizes the event, shares that there’s going to be a lot to do. Some of the activities tomorrow include a three legged race and a performance by country musician Jake McVey.

On the 4th there will be a 5k run/walk, parade and a fireworks display at the WACO Football Field. The fireworks are being donated by the City of Wayland and displayed by the Wayland Firefighters.
