The Mid-Prairie girl’s soccer team took on Burlington Notre Dame on Friday in the second round of the Regional playoffs and came away with the win 5-1.
The Golden Hawks Meghan Redlinger took charge of the game in the first scoring two in a shot filled first half for Burlington Notre Dame.
Redlinger grabbed the hat track just 20 seconds into the second half to make the score 3-1 and then Ali Riggen got a header past the keeper to make it 4-1. Katie Redlinger also got in on the scoring, with the final goal of the match.
The Golden Hawks advance now to regional final where they will face No. 1 ranked Davenport Assumption, who has scored 21 goals in the last two rounds on play, on Monday.
