The IMS boys soccer team grabbed another win last night after beating Williamsburg 4-0. IMS was away and lost the coin toss putting them playing into the wind in the first half. Halfway through the first half IMS scored a goal from Nathan Peters over to Reggie Hostetler who redirected it into the goal to take the lead. The IMS defense also played well not allowing much in the realm of scoring chances for Williamsburg. During halftime the rains came in a cooled off the players and coaches alike before they blew out and the sun came back. One Minute into the half Matt Libby kicked a ball to the front of the net that got deflected. Peters didn’t want to be left out in the goal column as he notched his first varsity goal as well before Dillon Bender had a corner kick that went right to Levi Schrock for the header and the last goal for IMS. Ben Brennemen had four saves on the night as well. IMS is now 14-4 this season and host Mid- Prairie on Thursday on senior night for IMS.
