A head-on accident in rural Johnson County has claimed the life of a Wellman resident.  According to the Iowa State Patrol, at 7:35 yesterday morning, 38 year old Cameron Lynn Davis of Wellman was traveling westbound on 500th Street Southwest a half mile east of Johnson-Iowa Road, came over a hill and struck the vehicle of 34 year old Jennifer Lynn Hussman of Wellman.

Davis was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals by Wellman Ambulance.  Hussman was pronounced dead at the scene.  Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and no charges were listed in the report.  KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
