The deadline is today for two opportunities for area high school 4-H members to join in a national leadership program next year. Amy Green, 4-H/Youth Coordinator says those wanting to attend the Citizenship Washington Focus program will have a chance to gain various leadership experiences, attend seminars and field trips as well as learn more about 4-H in a larger way.
She says this is a great experience for those in high school learning about the government to see things in museums and have a chance to talk with area Representatives. The sessions will be June 8 through 16 and June 15 through 23.
Registrations for the trips are due today. To learn more about this program, contact the Washington County Extension.
