The American Cancer Society is looking for southeast Iowa residents dealing with cancer to participate in a survey.  Kierstan Peck with the Washington County Relay for Life says the organization is hoping to receive input from 200 southeast Iowa cancer patients which will help further cancer research.

She says those that participate in the survey will help greatly to discover new ways of how to help patients live longer and even beat cancer.  Peck says those that want to contribute can contact the Washington County Relay for Life to find out more details.

Signups will take place Saturday in Fort Madison.

The survey is the third installment of a series of studies conducted by the American Cancer Society.
