The ISU Extension will be training judges for next year’s county fair 4-H exhibits. Amy Green with the Washington County Extension says State 4-H Youth Development Staff and experienced 4-H judges will train new judges on how to evaluate, educate, and encourage 4-Hers exhibiting at fairs.
She says once the new judges complete the training, their names will be entered into the statewide 4-H judges database.
Green encourages Washington County 4-Hers to sign up for the training, which takes place October 15 in Altoona. The deadline to register is September 30 and costs $15.
